Art Clinics

WHAT?

Art Clinics complement Real Run Academy P.E. and Sports Programs by further developing our students’ physical, social, and emotional skills. Real Run Academy students are taught art specific skills to help navigate their imagination, respect one another’s differences, and have fun in an environment outside of the academic classroom.

Age and skill appropriate clinics are available for both the recreational and competitive students.

FOUR SKILL LEVEL CLINICS ARE OFFERED: FUNDAMENTAL; BEGINNER; INTERMEDIATE; & ADVANCED. BASIC SKILLS DEVELOPED AS THE STUDENT PROGRESSES THROUGH THE FOUR LEVELS.

Following is an explanation of the Real Run Academy Art Clinic Program using Dance as an example.

The same format and guidelines are applied to all arts.

BASIC DANCE SKILLS: STRETCH, COUNTING MUSIC, BODY AWARENESS, PERFORMING
